Youth Advisory Committee

Our youth advisory committee provides a safe space for youth to come together to make suggestions, explore their needs and an opportunity to develop life and social skills.

The Parkwood Hills Youth Advisory Committee was developed in partnership with the South Nepean Satellite Community Health Centre. Youth aged 13 to 18 meet once a month in the Parkwood Hills neighborhood. The members of this group are actively involved in the design of the program, which is based on their needs.  Group activities vary year-to-year depending on youth interests. Generally, the group offers a positive environment to develop employment and social skills.

It also provides youth with opportunities to participate in social-recreation, gain high school volunteer hours and gain leadership opportunities to gain high school volunteer hours and to give back to the community. More members are welcome. For additional information and schedules please contact Marisa Moher at (613) 288-2825 ext. 2144 m.moher@pqchc.com

The Bells Corners Youth Advisory “TAG” in partnership with Centennial Public Library branch provides youth in grades 9 to 12 with a warm and safe environment to build new relationships with other youth, make recommendations for programming and build social skills.

TAG takes place twice a month on Thursday evenings from January to June.

New members are welcome.
