The Nepean, Rideau and Osgoode Community Resource Centre (NROCRC) is a trusted multi-service organization dedicated to supporting individuals, families, and communities through programs that improve health, well-being, and quality of life. We are currently seeking committed and community-minded individuals to join our volunteer Board of Directors.

As a member of our Board, you will help guide the strategic direction of NROCRC, ensuring that we continue to respond effectively and compassionately to the evolving needs of the diverse populations we serve.

We Are Looking for Leaders Who:

• Are aligned with NROCRC’s Mission, Vision, Values, and Strategic Priorities
• Possess strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
• Are committed to active participation, including approximately four hours per month for Board meetings and related responsibilities
• Are passionate about equity, diversity, inclusion, and trauma-informed care

Desired Skills and Experience:  
While all backgrounds are welcome, we are particularly seeking individuals with expertise in one or more of the following areas:
• Wealth Management
• Fundraising and Development

Previous governance experience with a non-profit Board or community group is considered an asset but is not required.  Our Board of Directors serves as the governing body of the organization, with responsibilities including:

• Oversight of financial and risk management

• • Strategic and long-term planning
  • Policy development
  • Supporting leadership in achieving organizational goals
  • In person and remote meetings

Board members serve for a term of three years, with the option to renew for up to three consecutive terms.
